2015 Events & Speakers

  • Kathryn Hujda, Performing Arts Archivist with University of Minnesota Archives and Special Collections, will give a presentation about the Minnesota Underground Music Archive (MUMA) and how archivists are preserving the Minnesota music scene of the past, present, and future. Saturday, June 27, 11am
  • Doug Hoverson, author of Land of Amber Waters: The History of Brewing in Minnesota, will talk about collecting breweriana, all of the items imprinted with brewery images which make up this fun collecting field.  Learn from an expert!  You can even get advice on starting your own collection!
  • Dr. Brent K.S. Woodfill, Director of the Proyecto Salinas de los Nueve Cerros and affiliated scholar, Institute for Advanced Studay, University of Minnesota will speak on Maya Literature from Codices by to the Books About.  Saturday, June 27, 2pm.
